planning to enroll in authorized colleges, universities, or Higher Education Institutions. It is a merit-based scholarship, with
Full Merit and Half Merit scholarships available. CHED is one of the most competitive scholarship programs, based solely on merit
for all applicants. The primary goal of the CHED Scholarship is to promote high-quality education and produce highly skilled graduates
in various fields. The scholarship provides financial aid for tuition, school fees, and stipends for the scholars. The CHED Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria of CHED Scholarship 2023
To be eligible for the CHED Scholarship 2023, the applicant must be a Filipino citizen who is either a graduating high school student or a high school graduate. For FSSP and FPESFA, the student must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 96% or above, while for half SSP and half PESFA, a GWA of 93% but not more than 95% is required. Moreover, the combined annual gross income of the applicant’s parent(s) or guardian(s) should not exceed PhP 400,000. If it surpasses the limit, applicants can provide written certification or medical findings of family member illness or school certifications of two or more dependents enrolled in college, university, or higher education institution. Lastly, the applicant should only avail of a single government-funded financial assistance program.
